I will give two stars based on past experience to be fair, but minus three stars due to recent dealings with this place. I use to find this Practice very helpful and nice. Over the past few years is seems to be more about the money. Example general blood work is now about $350. I called for an emergency illness visit for my cat, was told we have no appointments available for five days unless I want to just drop my cat off for the day to pay an additional $155 emergency fee ,and the vet will see your animal when they get around to it. First off I don't like leaving my pet alone all day in a vet office since she is very sensitive, second the fee is outrageous. Then they gave me some other vet numbers to call, not at all very friendly about it on the phone. In the past if I had called Greenpoint veterinary about a problem ,they would say to come right down since I live right down the block, those days are gone, and will never recommend them again.
The price may be higher than other vets in the area, but you get what you pay for. We left a cheaper vet traumatized with terrible experiences.
Excellent attention, Dr. Leah was very kind with Milka and all the team was very profesional. Hope they can cure my kitten.

We use Dr Tan for our regular vet and this AM, after a long holiday weekend, we needed to get our dog in to see someone ASAP after 12 hours of vomiting. I was able to drop her off this morning for a fee, they squeezed her in between their regularly scheduled appointments, and we'll be picking her up later this afternoon! I'm so thankful that even last minute, when I know i'm not the only person with a pet emergency today, they were able to get us in. It beats having to trek to the hospital in Downtown Brooklyn, for sure.
I never write google reviews but I'm absolutely blown away by the staff, doctors and nurses at Greenpoint vet. They are so hospitable, knowledgeable, quick at responding to emails or concerns, and seem to care an exceptional amount about your pet.
This place is a breath of fresh air in the world of Brooklyn Vets. Thoughtful, prompt, good with animals.
