Great organic juice bar. Better free range eggs than any brand at WF or Fairway.
I fell in love with this spot after getting (my now favorite) Pineapple passion smoothie. Sooo good. The employees are always very pleasant and helpful. It sells most natural products soaps, oils, protein bars and powders etc. along with the bar that sells healthy on the go snacks.
Amazing store, the name suits it well. Anything and everything healthy and with as little ingredients as possible. Whomever does the shopping for their store really knows their stuff. Their Perelandra products are amazing too, I particularly love their tofu salad and their soups. It truly is like a garden of Eden.
This is the best natural foods store in NYC! They have the best product selection and the most genuinely caring and helpful staff. (It’s independently owned and they actually pay their employees fairly too - there are no super rich CEOs here for a change! Business with a conscience! How refreshing!) Shopping here is supporting local business and this store is a rare treasure among an ever-expanding sea of corporate behemoths. What speaks the loudest is where you choose to spend your money, so I choose to keep it local and support the businesses of honest, hardworking New Yorkers. My experience for many years has been that this store is a cut above the rest. This is why Brooklyn is awesome. Highly recommended.
