I just left Brooklyn Hospital. My coworker was taken to the emergency room. The staff and doctors were incredible. Everyone was so polite and helpful.
Took my 4 month old baby there because he was very sick. Had a cold for almost 2 months and it just was getting worse. When I arrived the hospital was so discusting as well as the bathrooms. My son got checked out and they needed to take blood from him. The lady pre paired the stuff and put the needle and drew my sons blood with no gloves on and no assistance from another nurse. So me and my husband had to help her with holding down my son and helping her put his blood on the tubes (mind you no one has gloves on and did not wash there hands before hand). After words the nurse saw that I was getting upset and sat on a chair next to me and started telling me how other hospitals are better and that I should go there for my son to get better care instead of there. I just stood quite and let her walk away. Mean while hours are passing by and all u here and see is the nursing eating and talking about there personal life's while the emergency room has patients that needs to be assist. Long story short if you care about ur health do not come to this hospital. GO SOME WHERE ELSE.
My uncle in his 80s went into the hospital with heart trouble. In the beginning it seemed like they were trying very hard to help him. They asked us a few times if we wanted them to continue the life-saving process. We had to tell them at least 3 times that we wanted them to do everything they could for him. This was very unnerving. At 8:50 AM on Monday, Nov 27, 2017 Dr. Dina Ahmed called and told me they were doing CPR but that he had a low pulse and that efforts were "futile." He had a pulse! How does a doctor under the Hippocratic Oath say that it is futile to keep trying to save a man's life?? When I asked her what she meant by "futile" when he actually had a pulse, she took it back. She wanted me to tell her to give up on him, but I would not. Fifteen minutes later she called to say he passed away. They did a smooth job of killing him off. BE CAREFUL IF YOU FIND YOURSELF IN THIS HOSPITAL.
Love the way my mother was taking Care of. Her Name is Felicita Lopez; She was in Room 714 till today the 5th of October. Thank you to the Doctors, Nurses, Social Workers and the Staff
