Terrible this place it gets worst every year. Their system in the womans area sucks, always end up waitng 5 hours extra than your appointment time. Even if you arrive 30 minutes early.
Called to get patient information and couldn't locate due to misspelling. Annie A. In telecommunications helped me resolve the problem by going one step further than the folks in admitting to help me locate her. She had the right temperament lacking within the Admitting dept. They need additional call center training. Thank you Annie A.
The wall and floor are left dirty all day and they have an excuse for everything. Instead of asking my mom if she wants to bathe herself they treated her like she dont have no say. The nurses talk about the patients and their family member, thats unprofessional.
The only one that have respect is the doctor.
The last 2 appointments too more than 3 hours before I was seen by an obstetrician. They messed up the coding on my bills so my insurance wouldn't accept the charges which should have been covered. Impossible to contact the billing department, except by visiting in person. The doctors that I saw were great but the administration and service are abysmal. Every time I had to go there I got worked up which is clearly not good for a baby.
I hope the hospital take all these review seriously
My mom was admitted and waited a day for a room, to get treated rough by the nurses on the 6th floor in the afternoon shift. They rude and sneaky and if they bold enough to treat a alert patient like they sloppy, imagen a patient with more medical condition.
Staff was friendly, one of the residents escorted my girlfriend around for testing so that it went more quickly which i appreciated. The work-up was thorough but some of the tests were probably unnecessary/redundant - can’t blame them in such a litigious state though. Hospital ED is overpacked and that’s somewhat out of their control. Would have given 3-3.5 stars, however was disappointed with the end of care treatment. She was prescribed steroids which needed to be started sooner rather than later. They were first written to a pharmacy in the area that was closed. We had them change to another pharmacy that said it was open but ended up being closed as well. Being new to the area we are unfamiliar with the 24hr pharmacies. We called a second time to change to a pharmacy that was confirmed open - when we called to request the change whomever we spoke with asked “do you really need this tonight?”. I work with the same EMR system that they use and it literally takes about 2 minutes to write to a different pharmacy. The most frustrating part about this is that a single dosing of the steroid could have easily been given prior to discharge and then she could have picked up the remaining treatment regimen from a pharmacy the next day.
