I go to Mazzone Hardware a lot. I like to patronize small businesses if I can, and although both Lowe's and Home Depot are in walking distance, if it's something that Mazzone carries, that's where I'll go. The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. You walk in there and ask what the best 3/8" anchor is to hold over 100 lbs downward pressure in a joist (from the ceiling), and they'll pull the part off the rack and hand it to you. Ask the same question at Lowe's, and you'll talk to seven people before you realize that they haven't a bloody clue what you're even talking about, and hand you some generic drywall anchor. They're always friendly, there's never a line, and during the summer at least they have a nice little gardening section that has all the basics. Highly recommended.
Very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient service. The store is small so the selection is limited, but they are well stocked on the essentials. They also copy keys and have a garden center.

This last time I worked with Liz and she made sure that I got everything I needed and was very patient when I asked for prices for each add on item . My new egg was assembled and delivered for free. Couldn't be happier with their service.
