With my injury, I experienced so much post-op pain, some emotional trauma from my accident and lost almost complete range of motion in my dominant arm at the wrist. At times it didn't seem possible I'd regain full use of my hand/arm again. Through measured and regimented exercises they prescribed, I was able to regain nearly 100% mobility with no pain. And it wasn't just the exercises. The most significant aspect of my physical therapy experience was the hands-on massage of my forearm at the surgical site. I won't lie, sometimes it was pretty uncomfortable, but they never pushed it to the point where it was too much or too painful. It was absolutely necessary in order to break up the scar tissue that had formed, and in doing so, not only did it help loosen up my joints, I believe in some way, it released some of the trauma of my accident. I always felt after any of my sessions the following day refreshed and more physically and emotionally mobile.

Obviously I had a great team of surgeons and nurses that got me through the initial phase of my recovery. But I have Park Sports PT to thank for that crucial last bit that got me back whole again. Like I said up top, I'd recommend them any day.

FYI, the administrative staff are superb - they streamlined the work so well. They managed my insurance company efficiently and kept me up to speed with the status of all my sessions.

Professional, competent, knowledgeable, and compassionate.

Park Sports PT is a wonderful facility. Friendly staff. A calm, open, well lit space to work on PT, and a very supportive team of physical therapists. I highly recommend Kristen. I worked with her after tearing my ACL last year. Following surgery she helped me set my recovery goals and clearly explained the road ahead in PT. She is positive, motivating, and challenging and I'm happy to share that that I'm back running, biking and playing soccer after working with her. She is a great example of the kind of service and motivation you receive at Park Sports PT.

The people I meet there are most congenial. I highly recommend her for physical therapy of any kind. She is very professional and knowledgable.

This place is great. The team were kind, easy to work with and aggressively focused on my progress. I was back in the saddle after surgery from a cycling accident in much less time than I anticipated. Highly recommended.

I had two lower back surgeries this summer and just moved to Brooklyn. I decided to check Park Sports out because they got such great reviews and are a few blocks from where I moved. I went into their old office on Tuesday. Heads up, they’ve moved and are now on 9th street between 7th and 8th Avenue. I was disappointed to find they aren’t currently accepting new Health First patients at their new location, but will be as soon as they get the necessary building certs. They are still accepting new HF patients at their Fulton and 6th ave location in the interim. The staff was very friendly and owners very helpful.

Nicole at Union Street has been helping me with hip, back, and neck problems. She is miraculous! I was barely walking when I started with her in October. Now I am about to resume ballet. It is a long, slow process and includes lots of "homework" if you want to make progress.

I worked primarily with Boris and Victor, splitting my work with them pretty equally. Each offered so much of his individual knowledge and experience, I immediately felt comfortable, trusting and confident working with them.

This review is long overdue. I received physical therapy treatment at Park Sports for about 3 months following a pretty traumatic forearm and collarbone fracture. I was referred to Park Sports by my ortho surgeon, who secretly told me under his breath that they were the best in the area. I'm a skeptical and cynical person by nature, so I took his comment with a grain of salt. I am proud to admit I was very wrong to be so doubting. I would recommend them any day.
