I haven't even managed to come in for an appointment yet but boy did I get a run for my money. First they make an appointment and say they do accept my insurance which is Fidelis, but then they tell me they don't accept my insurance because it's under Obamacare. I am unpleasantly surprised that right here in Brooklyn a company would make sure to not accept patients just because they have a lower income insurance policy EVEN though they will get compensated. I spoke to NYS of Health directly and they explained to me that Obamacare plans cover the same services and pay the doctors the same fees. I think as a company - especially in this kind of neighborhood - you should be catering to the community. You should also make sure your staff are aware of your obnoxious policies so I wouldn't have to deal with this runaround. Not impressed with your discriminatory policies...
