I also left a deposit to hold the original 2010 and was misinformed of the process concerning my return if I changed my mind, and was inconvenienced to have to go back there to sign for the return of my money after I was told that all this could be done over the phone. I was never told about the 10 year factory warranty and the dealer's warranty was figured into my bottom line unnecessarily.
This is the absolute worst place to buy a vehicle. Today, my family and I decided to pay the dealership a visit to look for a Honda CRV. The sales associate who was helping us was incredibly rude- and he thought as if we were not aware. I don't understand what this person thinks of himself, but at the time we were looking at a 2014 CRV ex, and in our opinion it was a bit overpriced. I have friends that are car dealers and they told me the car was a bit overpriced, and that my family shouldn't purchase it since we were on a tight budget. It is totally understandable that people have different opinions- if I don't like your vehicle, I am not in a position where I MUST purchase it. My father was with me, and he said to the associate we will come back later to maybe look at a different type of vehicle with a friend who knows more about vehicle pricing. The associate said there is no friend- so he legitimately said to my father that he was lying to his face looking him straight in the eye as if he knows everything in the world and we are fools- and said the car is perfectly priced. He also said that the entire family was there and that we should just take the car. Honestly, in our opinion these people are trying to rob you- I will NEVER come here again. You wouldn't believe what they only lowered the price by- $500. They really should have lowered by about $2000- I am telling you, the car was overpriced. Don't waste your time, it has value, and so does your self respect. Do NOT come to this dealership.
I am very happy with this dealership. Managers and salesman were excellent. I had first went to Jersey to make a purchase and was very unhappy, then I started searching again and found the exact vehicle I saw in New Jersey at Bay Ridge Honda and the rest was history. Very happy with salesman Jeffery.
Took my car in for service and when I picked it up the rear window was completely broken and the top of the door dented! The worst thing is that the person giving me the car tried to say it was like that originally and they questioned if I dropped it off that way. There was fresh broken glass all over the bumper. I understand that people can make mistakes but you need to own up to it and then treat me fairly afterwards, not question me and make me feel a hundred times worse than I already do after seeing my car get messed up. Nobody there ever apologized. The manager Andrew seemed like the only competent person working there. It was such a bad experience and I had to spend a lot of my time going back there multiple times to pick up my car after the glass was replaced, then drop if off again for the body work, and then go pick it up after the body work was finished. Each time the drop off and pick up process was chaos and a terrible experience. I will without a doubt drive farther away to a suburban dealer next time I need service. Stay away from this place if you have any option.
Worst Goddamn experience I ever had! Sales rep tells me that their banks WILL NOT finance me for a 2010 Honda Accord because of my credit but WILL finance me for a 2014 or 2017 Accord. The reason being is because the newer models have more safety features and if something were to happen to the car the bank will have to pay to fix it and then won't be able to resell it for profit and therefore they will lose all around. To my knowledge once a bank cuts the check they are out of the picture and Insurance will have to take upon any responsibility in the event something happens to the car...isn't that what "Insurance" is for? Am I wrong?
UPDATE: I previously wrote a negative review about this dealership based on our experience with a particular staff member, but we returned a few days later because we were still interested in buying the car. This second visit brought my review from one star to five stars. We met with Robert Alfonso, one of the sales managers, and he was very apologetic about the situation and explained that no harm was meant whatsoever. He was kind and genuine and understood our concerns as well. He worked with us to sign the lease on our new Honda and the experience was much much better. As I initially said, Raymond was amazing on our first visit as well. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and cooperative with us on our budget. The guys at this dealership really are great! Thanks for a great experience, Robert.
When I declined the 2014 and 2017 vehicles I was then called back and told that they have more 2010 Honda Accords that just came in and I should come take a look. What kind of nonsense is this! If their bank originally would not work with me for a 2010 what the hell am I coming down there to look at the same year cars for?
A waste of time, energy and money messing with these people. I subsequently found another major dealership whose banks put me in the same year car....FULLY LOADED!!!! GO FIGURE! I rate my experience with this dealership less than one star but that option wasn't available on this post....GOOD RIDDANCE!
