I always have a lot of fun when I visit the park. You have a nice view of the parachute jump tower and some of the rides on and around the boardwalk. There is lots of entertainment inside the park during the games and it is a nice minor league park. The food is pricey, however worth it if you don't go out too often. Family oriented.
Honestly I played on the field with my soccer team, Flushing High School, and it was amazing. Right after playing we watched the Cosmos play. Amazing experience something I will never forget!
Lovely smaller sized stadium/park built with intention of being the home field for the short season, single A farm team affiliate of the New York Mets, the Brooklyn Cyclones. It has housed other attractions over the years, but the Cyclones are their main draw. Have always had a good time when coming here, sans one time a staff member got a little aggressive with me, demanding me to turn my shirt inside out because a woman felt offended by a tongue-in-cheek pro-vegan shirt I once wore. Only other complaint I have about the park is that the food lines can get way out of hand if staff are running slow due to being slammed with park goers when a game gets a large draw of people. I've been witness to lines going on from the first inning until close to the 8th inning of a ballgame.
Loved it. Had so much fun watching the game. There was only one issue which was my son and I stood on line from the time we got there today till 335 well one was we were on the line they said to be on than as we were getting closer they opened another line didn't have a problem what bothered me was that there was a group of ball players there and than that walked away and the security guard went to find out what's going on well he came back and said they were closing so the players could practice so yes I was mad and hot so I walked all the way back to our seats and when I went to tell my sister and brother in law than we look over and they reopened the line. My son was so hurt and sad I was just mad cause we finally gotten to the front and now the line is mad long again. They need to think of kids doing that and I am disabled and couldn't walk or stand all over again but the other team rocked it the Hudson valley them signed my son baseball and made he feel good. And they even threw me one of there foul balls.
Soccer game - first time visitor. Liked how small and homey it felt. Toilets nice and clean, good food selection. Seats hard plastic, could be wider, very limited amount of seating has roof above.
