I cannot recommend At Home In Brooklyn highly enough! We booked the whole house for my in-laws during our wedding, and it was perfect. Don could not have been a more gracious or generous host - he was so lovely and welcoming, and went above and beyond to make it an incredible experience for everyone. We even hosted a small rehearsal dinner AND post-wedding brunch on the ground floor, which was a huge bonus. Don helped my mother-in-law set up the brunch and it looked beautiful. Everything was seamless. Location can't be beat - right across from the park and close to so many great shops. We got rave reviews from our family, and it was such a gift to know they were well taken care of for our special event. :)

This is a spectacularly beautiful and gracious home - one of the prettiest brownstones I've ever seen in NYC, and it's right on Prospect Park, near Grand Army Plaza. Don, the owner of this fabulous B&B, is the ultimate host, greeting everyone and answering all questions. I always book the top floor suite, which is the entire top floor, with a private and very modern bathroom to myself, and a lovely, huge, landscaped terrace with seating for a crowd. The 3 second floor bedrooms share a beautiful and modern bathroom. Those bedrooms are spacious and nicely decorated with period furnishings and art. The breakfasts at "At Home in Brooklyn" are copious and excellent, with smoothies, pastries from the best bakeries in the area, fruit, juice, coffee, cereal, and more. This historic home was artfully updated and converted into a B&B by Don, and he has run it like clockwork for years. I can easily walk to visit my children and grandchildren nearby, and there are also subway stops conveniently located. I can't recommend this "home away from home" enough.

A wonderful place to stay! It really feels like home. We rented the entire place with our family, including three young children and it was just perfect. Our hosts Don and Marco were so accommodating and gracious. The rooms are lovely and comfortable! Breakfast is just the best....who doesn't love hot croissants to start the day! You won't be disappointed "At Home in Brooklyn".

CLOSED- They are hopefully temporarily closed while fighting for sensible BnB legislation in NYC. Facebook page has a full explanation.

I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants a cozy place to stay, with literally an 'at home' feel, in Brooklyn, over a hotel any day of the week!

It was very clean and the rooms were very spacious along with free fast wifi throughout. If you wanted to stay in, they have plenty, and I mean PLENTY of books to read and movies to watch, along with a beautiful piano in the main living room. And if you want to go out, you are on a perfect spot in Brooklyn close to a variety of places or just for a stroll in the park.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We spent 2 nights here (8 guests spanning 4 rooms) this past weekend for a wedding that was taking place across the street in Prospect Park. The location was perfect and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
