Got to the window at 4:40 p.m. on a Tuesday and was told that my paperwork could not be accepted because it was after 4 p.m. I did not know about this rule as it was not posted anywhere. I asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor (who I won't name here) told me that it is "city-wide protocol to stop accepting paperwork after 4 p.m." Has anyone else heard of this rule? The supervisor proceeded to accept my paperwork like he was doing me a favor, and said that he'd have it handled like a "Mail-In". The mail-in process takes longer but regrettably I had no other choice so I accepted it.
Horrible experience with the court clerks, I work for a law firm and I have never been disrecspected so much in such a small amount of time, the clerks have no patience but not all the employees are bad, the court officers were extremely respectful and helpful. I will be filing a formal complaint against the clerk how "helped" me out. Hey GFY :)
The moral of the story is be prepared for there to be hidden arbitrary rules made by the supervisors that are and inconvenience and that don't serve the public well.
I just don't like courts period. And the fact when I have court dates, I'm in here at least three hours if not more
Secured area. Cops and security guards everywhere. When I was new to this area, I asked for help. And the cops who were on duty help me finding where I was going.
No doubt about their service. Everyone is helpful.
Doesn't know what they're doing. The safety officers allow people to stand outside the building , my son has been attacked many times leaving the courts. And nothing has yet to be done about thesending situations
